Served with Jersey Royals, green beans, mushrooms and (Agurken Salat). Lovely thank you. I did use raisins for the sauce! 🐂

Your sauerbraten looks amazing! And I love the side dishes. One of these days I'm going to try the raisins in the sauce. I'm so happy you tried it :D Were you able to time the baking right so the meat came out not too dry?

it was slightly dry, but only because my kids decided they didn't wanted to go bed 😊. I used a meat thermometer, it was well done rather than medium. but with the sauce it was very nice. I liked how you caramelised the sugar I'll try doing my caramelised potatoes like that next time. rather than melting the sugar first and then putting the butter to it.

I see! The first time I cooked it mine was a bit dry too, but the sauce fixes it all ;) The second time I reduced the time and it turned out medium rare and juicy. Mmm, i've never had or made caramelised potatoes! Sounds like it would be good with that technique :)
