Ingredients

  1. To cook the cauliflower:
  2. About 2.2 lbs cauliflower
  3. 1 teaspoonsalt
  4. Water to cover the cauliflower
  5. For the batter:
  6. 3 tablespoonsflour
  7. 3 tablespoonsbreadcrumbs
  8. 2eggs beaten with a pinch of salt
  9. 1 teaspoongarlic powder
  10. 1 teaspoonoregano
  11. Oil for frying

    First, cut the cauliflower into florets and wash them thoroughly. Place them in a pot and add enough water to cover. Add the teaspoon of salt. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes. Then, remove and drain well. Mix the flour with the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and oregano. Coat the cauliflower florets in this mixture and place them on a flat plate or tray.

    Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt. Add plenty of oil to a frying pan and heat it up. Once hot, reduce the heat to medium and start dipping the cauliflower in the egg, then place it in the pan.
