Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupsoaked chana dal
  2. 4-5 tablespoonroasted peanut
  3. 1boiled potato
  4. 1/2 cupchopped onion
  5. 2-3 tablespoonchopped mint leaves
  6. 2-3 tablespoonchopped curry leaves
  7. 1/2 teaspoonCumin seeds
  8. 2-3 teaspoonFennel seeds
  9. 2-3chopped green chili
  10. 1/2 inchgrated Ginger
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. Chili powder
  13. 1 cupgrated beetroot

Cooking Instructions

    In a blender add soaked chana dal, roasted peanuts, green chili, Ginger, Cumin seeds, Fennel seeds,mint leaves, curry leaves, salt,chili powder. Grind it to a coarse mixture without adding any water.in a mixing bowl add mashed potato, chopped onion, grated beetroot and chana dal mixture.all ingredients mix well and make a dough grease your hands with oil.

    Now take a small ball sized dough and give the shape of rounded patties. Shallow fry them on both sides till golden brown on both sides. Serve hot with coconut chutney, peanut chutney.
