Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsuncooked Jasmine rice (use the cup from rice cooker)
  2. 600 mlwater (as much as needed by the rice cooker)
  3. 300 grboneless chicken thigh, cubed
  4. 3lap cheong (chinese sausage), sliced
  5. 5garlic cloves, minced
  6. 2 cmginger, minced
  7. 2 tbsoyster sauce
  8. 2-3 tbslight soy sauce (to taste)
  9. Ground white pepper to taste
  10. 2 tspsesame oil
  11. Green onion, sliced for garnish
  12. Marination for chicken :
  13. 1 tsplight soy sauce
  14. Ground white pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate the chicken for a couple minute while preparing the rice.

    Rinse the rice until the water clear then drain it.

  3. 3

    Push the "COOK" button of rice cooker.

  4. 4

    Heat sesame oil into rice cooker bowl.

  5. 5

    Add minced garlic and ginger.

  6. 6

    Saute until fragrance.

  7. 7

    Add the rice, water, soy sauce, oyster sauce and pepper. Stir it well.

    Arrange the chicken and sausage on top of the rice.

  9. 9

    Close the lid of the rice cooker. Make sure the button "COOK" is on.

  10. 10

    After the rice is cooked, sprinkle with green onion.
