Ingredients

30 mins
  1. 2 cupsbajra flour
  2. 1/2 cuprice flour
  3. 1/2 cupbesan/chickpea flour
  4. 1/2udad flour (optional)
  5. 1 cupmethi leaves
  6. 1 cupgrated onion
  7. 1/2 cupdahi/plain yogurt
  8. 1 tbspcoriander seeds
  9. 1 tbspjeera/ cumin seeds
  10. 1 tspcarrom/ ajwain seeds
  11. 2 tbspsesame seeds
  12. 4-5big cloves of garlic
  13. Red chilli powder as per taste
  14. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  15. 2green chillies
  16. salt to taste
  17. oil to pan fry

Cooking Instructions

    Grind Ajwain, coriander and cumin seeds to a fine powder.

    Mix bajra flour, besan, rice flour and udad flour.

  3. 3

    Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, sesame seeds, salt and the ground spice mixture(coriander seeds, cumin seeds and ajwain)

    Make garlic and green chilli paste. Add it to the flour mixture.

  5. 5

    Also add chopped methi leaves, grated onion and dahi to this mixture.

  6. 6

    Knead this into a stiff dough with little water. Flatten it with hand or rolling pin.

    Roast on the pan with oil. Serve with Raita, pickle and butter.
