Cooking Instructions

Bring a large enough pot of water to stew all the tomatillos and tomato to a boil

Stew the tomato and tomatillos until the skin is slightly peeled or begins to split

Remove the tomato and tomatillos from the water and cool until safe to handle

Set aside one cup of stew water
- 5
Cut off the stem end of the tomato and tomatillos.

Add the stewed tomato and tomatillos to the blender
- 7
Add garlic, salt, and dried peppers to the blender
- 8
Add one cup of stew water to the blender and blend thoroughly.
