Ingredients

  1. Stewing beef cut into.5 cm cubes
  2. 6 cupswater
  3. 2 tbspbetter than boillion beef flavor
  4. 1/2 cupred wine
  5. 1 cuponion diced
  6. 4 clovesgarlic minced
  7. 1 cantomato soup
  8. 1 cupcelery diced
  9. 1 cupdaikon or carrot diced
  10. 1 tspmsg
  11. 1 tspsage
  12. 1 tspthyme
  13. 3bayleafs
  14. 1 tsppepper
  15. 2 tbspcooking oil of choice
  16. Salt to taste
  17. 2 cupscooked egg noodles

Cooking Instructions

    Add oil to cast iron enamel pot and cook beef cubes on high until browned. Add onions and cook another couple minutes.

    Add garlic and cook another minute. Have wine ready to add after. This will deglaze the pot when stirred.

    Add water and all other ingredients except for egg noodles. Cook with tight lid on for 45 minutes.

    Cook egg noodles separately to package directions. Add to soup at end of cooking and serve.
