In a bowl take sugar and butter. Blend till frothy.

Put a strainer over the sugar-oil mixture bowl. Add wheat flour and chocolate powder. Sieve.

Add soda bicarb and baking powder to curd. Add 1 tsp warm milk to activate both the sodas.

Add to the flour mix. Add milk little by little and mix the batter with gentle strokes.

Add chopped walnut, mix and pour in a 6"(diameter)baking tray

Tap the tray a few times. Meanwhile preheat an oven at 180°c for 10 minutes.

Bake the cake at 180°c for 30 minutes. Check with toothpick, take out from the oven and let the cake cool down.

When cooling down, then mold the cake and keep it aside.

Let's prepare chocolate ganache: Put sugar in a saucepan, add chocolate powder, and condensed milk. Mix and heat till all ingredients incorporate together.

Take grated dark chocolate in a bowl, pour warm chocolate sauce over it. Add chopped walnut and whisk till ganache is silky.

Let chocolate ganache be cooled.

When cool pour over chocolate cake. Leave for 1 hour.

Garnish with cherries and walnut chunks. Serve.
