Pasta Aligue (Crab Fat Paste)

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 8 ozspaghetti noodles (or any favorite pasta)
  2. 1/2 poundshrimps
  3. 1/2aligue/crab fat - adjust as desired
  4. 3 tbspolive oil
  5. 2 clovesgarlic, minced
  6. 1medium onion, chopped
  7. 2 tbspkalamansi juice, or lemon juice
  8. 1/2 cupheavy cream or all purpose cream
  9. Salt and pepper to taste
  10. 3 tbspgrated parmesan cheese, or any hard cheese

Cooking Instructions

    In a saucepan, heat oil in medium high then stir in the shrimps until cooked. Remove shrimps but leave the oil.

    In the same pan, sauté garlic and onion just until tender. Add the aligue and cream and stir to combine. Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes. Add the kalamansi juice. Season with salt and pepper.

    Toss in the precooked pasta and mix well. Transfer to your serving dish. Top with shrimps and sprinkle with cheese before serving. Enjoy!
