Combine the sugar and water in a pan. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then bring to a boil. Cook until you get a one-string consistency syrup, then remove from heat and let it cool.

Add ghee to a pan. Once the ghee melts, add the vermicelli and roast on very low heat until golden brown.

Pour the cooled syrup over the roasted vermicelli and gently mix.

Add cardamom powder and chopped pistachios and almonds. Mix well.

Delicious Meethi Sevai is ready. Garnish with more chopped pistachios and almonds before serving.
