French Toast French Toast
I had half a loaf of stale bread that I'd bought a week and a half ago before the lockdown began, so I did this to revive it. Without any other added ingredients it can be eaten savoury or sweet as one likes. The egg and milk in the proportions given seem to be almost exactly enough for six slices of sandwich bread. 蛟龍Stormwyrm -
French Toast French Toast
I wanted to eat French toast soaked in a milky mixture. When soaking the bread in the egg mixture, hold it firmly so it is coated well and evenly. Leave it in the mixture to soak and you'll get a nice melting texture. It will be as if it had been rested for a day. Recipe by Gakkoiburi cookpad.japan -

Jam-stuffed French Toast Jam-stuffed French Toast
Replacing the sugar with jam made this amazing, so I uploaded this recipe!!You could also use baguette instead of sliced bread. If you use thicker cut bread, leave it to soak in the batter for a longer period of time. It's okay if the jam is still a bit lumpy after Step 4!The batter is very milky. French Toast Casserole French Toast Casserole
This smells so good in the oven . Reminds me of Sticky Buns. They have a Gooey center. The bread is soft. It just about melts in your mouth. Pam (Pammie) ~ Livetoride ~♥ -
Fluffy French Toast Fluffy French Toast
I came up with this recipe by completely infusing the bread with the egg mixture, then slowly frying it until it's entirely cooked through.4-slice bread (3-cm thick slices) give a fluffy and delicious finish. They burn easily, so fry over low heat. Be sure to cover the pan with a lid. The time it takes to cook will vary depending on the thickness of the bread. I used thick sliced (3 cm) bread. Overnight French toast bake Overnight French toast bake
French toast is so time consuming for me because I have to make so much of it. This way was a breeze and Iam happy that I have 2 13x9 baking dishes so I can double this up , I found that one dish wasn’t enough , one dish would feed 3 people with no Second helpings . I started this at 10:30pm it took like maybe 10 mins if that , and popped that in the oven around 9am half asleep Waiting for the coffee to kick in 😴 set some timers and bam breakfast is done. Set it and forget it my kinda cooking lol . I did find that I thought it was to sweet for my liking with the brown sugar and butter on the bottom, that can be cut down to less as long as the bottom of the dish is covered, however my kids loved it and was licking 👅 the plate asking for more, then wishing I should have doubled it and made two . This is a game changer for them busy mornings or holiday mornings ,and if your like me lazy mornings and you hear when’s breakfast 100 times before you even get to the coffee pot .lol 🌈NinjaMommaKitchen🌈 -

Easy French Toast with Baguettes Easy French Toast with Baguettes
I wanted to eat French toast as an afternoon snack. If you use free-range, organically grown eggs, the yolks will be rich and you can really enjoy their flavor. I recommend eating free-range eggs.Ideally, soak the bread in the liquid for at least 1 hour, but you can speed the process by pressing down with a spatula. When frying the bread, don't turn it over several times. Fry it patiently over low heat as if you were steaming it, and it will be delicious. For 2 servings. Crispy in an Oven French Toast Crispy in an Oven French Toast
A recipe for oven-baked French toast was on display in a bakeware shop near my house, but the recipe used such a tiny amount of liquid. So I modified the recipe in such a way that I thought it would suit my family's tastes better. There's usually no rings free on the hob in the morning as everyone's making their packed lunches, so recipes like this that don't require a frying pan are so handy. Pictured is the recipe made with Danish bread. With this amount of egg mixture you can soak 4 slices of an 8 slice loaf of bread, but please shorten the baking time slightly. The egg mixture will probably not be enough to do 4 slices of an 6 loaf bread, so add one more egg to ensure the bread gets saturated. Note that this will result in a stronger egg taste and the overall result will be less sweet. Recipe by nemarin cookpad.japan
