For Halloween, I was inspired by @alisweets' gnocchi 🤩 and served them with a porcini mushroom sauce... So delicious!

For Halloween, I was inspired by @alisweets' gnocchi 🤩 and served them with a porcini mushroom sauce... So delicious!

Clean the pumpkin and peel the potatoes. Cut both into small pieces.

Place the pumpkin and potatoes in a pot with enough water to cover them. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes after the water starts boiling.

Drain the pumpkin and potatoes and let them cool. Mash them with a fork, and once cooled, add the flour and start kneading.

Form a smooth dough. If it's too sticky, add more flour.

Roll the dough into ropes and cut into pieces about 1/2 inch (1 cm) long. Bring a pot of water to a boil on the stove.

When the water is boiling, add salt and drop in the gnocchi. They are ready when they float to the surface: just drain and serve with your favorite sauce.
