These chocolate-covered strawberries are the perfect dessert for my Patycofans... I stumbled upon strawberries at the market, and there's no better way to enjoy them than with this delicious coating. Besides having fun decorating them, I joined the chocolate tribute with my friends at Cookpad. Let's get started:

Ingredients

40 minutes
Snack
  1. Strawberries
  2. 7 ozdark chocolate (about 200 grams)
  3. 1/2 teaspoonvanilla extract
  4. Pinchsalt
  5. 1 teaspooncoconut oil
  6. Assorted sprinkles
  7. sticksWooden

Cooking Instructions

40 minutes
  1. 1

Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. Insert the stick right in the center of the leaves and set aside.

  2. 2

In a bowl over a double boiler, melt the chocolate. Once it's very liquid and shiny, add the vanilla, salt, and coconut oil, mixing well to unify the chocolate.

  3. 3

To dip the strawberries more easily, pour the chocolate into a glass, hold them by the stick, and submerge them almost to the end without covering the leaves.

  4. 4

Tap gently to remove excess chocolate.

  5. 5

To let them dry well, it's best to stick them into a piece of styrofoam.

  6. 6

For the strawberries you want to decorate with sprinkles, do it immediately after taking them out of the chocolate and also stick them into the styrofoam.

  7. 7

Let them cool completely, about 20 to 30 minutes at room temperature, and then you can decorate or plate them.

  8. 8

I arranged them like a bouquet in a glass, with colorful paper and a ribbon. It's a nice idea if you're thinking of making a special gift.

  9. 9

My Patycofans, you have to make them... you'll surely make your loved ones smile!

  10. 10

    Impossible not to try...

  11. 11

    Yum, delicious...
