Beets are sometimes rejected because of the popular canned pickled beets. Fresh beets according to the way they are prepared are a bit different. This is a great pairing.

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 425° Fahrenheit. Wash, peel, and chop, the beets and carrots.

Add softened butter to a pan yeah it's a bunch. Press the beet pieces into the butter and put in oven.

Let the beets cook 15 minutes. Add the carrot pieces. Bake till all is fork tender.
