Ingredients

  • 2 cupsrice
  • 1 cupurad dal
  • 1 tspFenugreek seeds
  • 2 tsp poha
  • For For sambar- toor dal, vegetables, oil and spices
  • As RequiredFood colour

Steps

30 mins.
  1. 1

    Soak rice and dal seperately overnight

  2. 2

    Grind separately, mix, keep for fermentation for 7-8 hrs

  3. 3

    Grease idli stand,add orange and green colour for some idlis separately and pour the batter in that, and steam for 20 mins.

  4. 4

    For sambar- cook 1 cup toor dal, make tadka of onion, tomato, beans, drum sticks, add termeric, chilli powder,salt, tamarind paste, sambar masala, cooked toor dal, add coriander leaves, sambar is ready
