Peanut Butter Cookies

I never liked peanut butter (a classic American staple) because I wasn't a fan of sweet sandwiches. But using it in cookies or cakes seems great to me. It gives everything an intense peanut flavor.

Steps
- 1
Beat the peanut butter with the egg until the mixture thickens slightly. Add the sugars and continue mixing.
- 2
Once you have a smooth dough, form it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- 3
After this time, take the dough out of the fridge and take enough dough to form balls the size of a walnut. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- 4
Flatten them slightly and use a fork to make a crisscross pattern. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 5
Put the baking sheet with the cookies in the preheated oven at 350°F for 10-12 minutes. Even if they seem too soft and underdone, don't worry. They will firm up a bit more as they cool.
