Ingredients

  1. 2.2 lbschicken wings
  2. For the marinade:
  3. 3-4 tbspsoy sauce
  4. 1 tspWorcestershire sauce
  5. 1 tspmustard
  6. 2 tbsphoney
  7. 1lemon (juice)
  8. Ginger, powdered or freshly grated
  9. 1 tbspsmoked paprika
  10. 2 tbsphot sauce (piri piri, Valentina, Tabasco...)
  11. 1 tspblack pepper
  12. Salt
  13. For cooking:
  14. 2-3 tbspsugar-free barbecue sauce
  15. For the sauce:
  16. 2Greek yogurts
  17. 1 tbspmayonnaise
  18. 1 tbspherb cream cheese
  19. 1 tspDijon mustard
  20. 1 tsporegano
  21. 1 tspdill
  22. 1drizzle of olive oil
  23. Salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Ask the butcher to prepare the wings, cut and without the tip. Put them all in a freezer bag and add the marinade ingredients: soy sauce, lemon, spices, salt, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard.

    Mix everything well so the wings are well coated with all the flavors. Close the bag and let them marinate for a few hours; I left them for about 8 hours.

    To cook them: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes. Place the wings on the air fryer tray and brush with the remaining marinade from the bag and barbecue sauce. Close and set for 20 minutes at the same temperature.

    After the first 10 minutes, turn the wings over and let them brown for the remaining 10 minutes. Remove and serve! I served them with a homemade yogurt sauce.
