Ingredients

60 minutes
4-5 people
  1. 1 1/2 lbsribeye steak (or your favorite cut), diced into two inch cubes
  2. 1yellow pepper, cut in 1-2 inch pieces
  3. 1red pepper, cut in 1-2 inch pieces
  4. 1/2an onion, cut into 1-2 inch pieces
  5. For the marinade
  6. 1 cupcoconut aminos (soy sauce replacement)
  7. 1/2 cupolive oil
  8. 1/4 cupsesame oil
  9. 2 Tbspminced garlic
  10. 2 Tbspsesame seeds
  11. 1 Tbspminced ginger
  12. 1 tsponion powder
  13. 1/4 tspsalt
  14. 1 Tbsphoney

Cooking Instructions

60 minutes
  1. 1

    Add all marinade ingredients, except the honey, to a medium bowl and mix to combine.

    Divide half the marinade into a separate bowl or ziplock bag.

    Add steak cubes to the bowl or bag and mix to evenly coat, set aside

  4. 4

    Let steak sit in the marinade for at least 20 minutes, or refrigerate overnight.

    While steak is marinating, chop veggies and heat grill too medium heat.

  6. 6

    Skewer vegetables with meat, alternating between them.

  7. 7

    Cook the skewers for 5 minutes on each side, or until steak is done to preference.

    Add the honey to the remaining marinade and heat in a saucepan until it thickens.

  9. 9

    Pour marinade over grilled steak skewers, top with sesame seeds, cilantro or green onions.
