Ingredients

45 mins
8 people
  1. 1 lbelbow noodles
  2. Water (to fill a pot and boil noodles)
  3. 7 tablespoonsflour
  4. Salt
  5. Pepper
  6. DashPaprika (optional)
  7. 1 stickbutter
  8. 1 cupMilk
  9. 2-3 cupsColby jack shredded cheese

Cooking Instructions

45 mins
  1. 1

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add noodles. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. 2

Stir noodles so they don’t stick together while boiling. I add a dash of salt to help.

  3. 3

In another pot I add 1 stick of butter and put the burner on low to melt the butter.

  4. 4

Once butter is melted, add the flour and whisk the butter and flour together.

  5. 5

Slowly pour in milk the butter and flour mixture whisking to rid of any clumps, and make a gravy. (I like a thinner gravy consistency so I may add more milk)

  6. 6

Add salt and pepper to the gravy and whisk.

  7. 7

Drain noodles in a strainer and place in a large baking dish.

  8. 8

Pour the gravy mixture all over the noodles

  9. 9

Take a cup of shredded cheese and add to the noodle and gravy and mix together well.

  10. 10

Top the noodles with shredded cheese about a cup or so. (I use maybe 2 cups. We like it super cheesy)

  11. 11

Pop the Mac & cheese in the oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted or longer, if you like it more “crispy”

  12. 12

    Done
