  1. 4 cupswashed and chopped fenguric(methi) leaves
  2. 1 cupwashed and chopped dil leaves(optional)
  3. 1 cuppeel and chopped in diceed potatoes
  4. 2green chillies finely chopped
  5. 5-6galic cloves chopped
  6. 1/4 tspturmeric powder optional
  7. As Per TasteSalt
  8. 1 pinchasafoetida
  9. 1 tbspmustard oil

Cooking Instructions

    Put kadhai on a gas stove, and add oil. when oil becomes hot for tempting add asafoetida, chilies and garlic, and saute for 1min.

    Now addon diced potatoes and turmeric powder mixed well and cook covered for 4-5min.

    Open the lid mix again and now put fenguric (methi) and dil leaves mix it and cook covered for 3-4min on medium slow flame.

    Now open the lid and mix well and that time add salt according to your taste, cook open at medium to high flame. till dry,

    Serve hot with chapati or dal chawal.
