Classic French Toast Classic French Toast
Warm, crispy toast with a cinnamon-sugar topping and some Quebec maple syrup. Whipped cream, fresh fruit, or fruit preserves are excellent additions to this sweet breakfast. Adjust the level of sugar to your liking. You can also make it savoury by omitting the sweet stuff and going with herbs! Try rosemary and paprika, and grease the pan with olive oil instead of butter. Italian seasoning works too.Kit

I wanted to eat French toast soaked in a milky mixture. When soaking the bread in the egg mixture, hold it firmly so it is coated well and evenly. Leave it in the mixture to soak and you'll get a nice melting texture. It will be as if it had been rested for a day. Recipe by Gakkoiburi cookpad.japan
