Smothered green beans

Ingredients

  1. 6 stripsbacon, chopped
  2. 1/2onion, minced
  3. 1 tspminced garlic
  4. 1 lbfresh green beans, trimmed
  5. 1 cupwater, or more as needed
  6. Salt & pepper to taste
  7. 1/2 tsp- 1 tsp of chicken bullion powder
  8. Tony’s creole seasoning to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Place bacon in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat; cook until fat begins to render. Stir in onion and garlic; cook and stir for 1 minute. Add green beans.

    Add water and seasonings. Cook until water has evaporated and beans are tender. Add more water as needed until beans are tender. Add more salt & pepper if needed.
