  • 1.1 lbsfresh pork chops (not smoked)
  • Finely chop:
  • 1/2medium onion
  • 10 sprigscilantro
  • 2 clovesgarlic
  • 1jalapeño or serrano pepper
  • 2potatoes, cut into pieces
  • 1 cupbroth (vegetable, chicken, beef, whatever you have)
  • 2 tablespoonsmustard dressing
  • 1 tablespoonolive oil
  • 1 pinchground black pepper
  • Salt to taste

    Add the mustard, oil, pepper, and salt if needed to the cup of broth, as the broth may already contain salt. Stir and pour into the slow cooker pot.

    Add the pork chops, potatoes, and the finely chopped ingredients.

    Cover and set the slow cooker to high for 3 hours. Check the salt after 2 hours.

    After the time is up, turn off and serve.
