Ingredients

4-6 servings
  1. 1 poundfinely chopped kale
  2. 1/4 cuppeanut oil
  3. 1/3 poundbulk sausage
  4. 1/4 poundsmoked hog jowls chopped
  5. 2/3 teaspoonsalt
  6. 1/3 teaspoongranulated garlic powder
  7. 1-1/2 tablespoonsdehydrated onions

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a pan sauté hog jowls till fat is rendered.

    Add kale, seasonings, and onions stir well, and sauté for 15 minutes till moisture is absorbed.

    Add peanut oil and make a pocket/ crater in the center adding the sausage. Cover and cook till sausage is done.

    Mix well add seasonings to taste, if necessary.a

  5. 5
