Steps
- 1
Put water in a pot and add the granulated dashi. Bring to a boil over high heat. If using dried wakame, add it now.
- 2
Cut the vegetables starting with those that take longer to cook. Slice them as thinly as possible and add them to the pot as you go.
- 3
Once all the ingredients are in and it comes to a boil, dissolve the miso. Adjust the taste, then turn off the heat just before it boils again. Done! It took exactly 5 minutes with the ingredients above!
- 4
Use leftover shredded cabbage from the previous day. I also shredded the carrot.
- 5
If you have leftover eggs, beat them. Half an egg is enough for two servings. The ingredients here are imitation crab, mizuna, shiitake mushrooms, and onion.
