Marjoram Mustard

Always wanted to make my own mustard but I didn't want to make it to sharp, and I didn't want it to be too mellow. So here is my mustard.
WARNING if you stir mustard powder in water too hard or too long it will become very hot.

Rosemary Mustard Chicken Rosemary Mustard Chicken
I wanted to use the rosemary that I'm growing in my garden! If you put water in the marinade the meat will absorb some of it, preventing it from getting tough when it's cooked. In the photo I show the chicken with potatoes. Cut 2 small potatoes into 4 pieces and cook them along with the chicken in between the pieces. If the potatoes haven't cooked through yet when the chicken is done, leave the potatoes to cook a bit longer. For 2-3 servings. Recipe by Ayatan cookpad.japan -

Homemade Grainy Mustard Homemade Grainy Mustard
I wanted to make a homemade version. When it's freshly made, it's not so spicy, but the shells of the seeds will have a crunchy texture that's especially delicious. After it has sat for 2-3 days, check the taste. After 2-3 days, the mustard seeds will absorb the moisture, so you can adjust the taste and texture then with white wine vinegar. Homemade Whole Grain Mustard Homemade Whole Grain Mustard
I read an article about making mustard and was surprised to learn that making your own was quite easy! Usually yellow and brown mustard seeds are mixed, but I often make this with just yellow. Brown seeds are sharper and more pungent, so play with the ratio! This is the basic recipe, but once you get the hang of it, try adding other sweeteners, herbs, spices, etc. I like to make a little bit at time so this recipe will make about 1/2 cup. Felice -
