A simple Mixed Green Salad with Strawberry and Balsamic Dressing is so simple to whip up and is ready in 15 minutes.
The salad required minimal chopping, and has so much flavour! A perfect side salad or top it witch chicken or salmon to make it a meal.
A refreshing green salad, perfectly complemented by balsamic vinaigrette and the addition of fresh strawberries, raisins and cheese. There is just something so delicious about fresh, juicy strawberries and tangy balsamic vinegar, it’s like they were made for each other.
ou can also easily customize this salad to your liking. Feel free to add nuts of choice for the crunch. You could also use raspberries, blueberries or even chopped apples or pears.

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cupmixed greens
  2. 1/2 cupstrawberries, quartered
  3. 3/4 cupfeta cheese, crumbled/ chopped
  4. 1/4 cupraisins
  5. 1/4 cupbalsamic vinegar
  6. 3 tbsp.olive oil
  7. 1 tbsp.poppy seeds
  8. 1 tbsp.honey
  9. 1/2 tsp.salt
  10. 1/2 tsp.pepper powder

Cooking Instructions

15 minutes

    In a small bowl whisk together vinegar, honey, olive oil, poppy seeds, salt and pepper until well combined.

    Place the mixed greens in a big bowl and add the strawberries, feta and raisins.

  3. 3

    Drizzle the dressing, half of it, and toss the salad to coat the leaves. Add more dressing if required.

    Serve immediately.
