Cooking Instructions

For the Easy Sourdough Starter begin the night before by mixing the ingredients all together.

Let the mixture rise for an hour, then keep in the fridge overnight.

For the Pizza: 1.Begin by combining the sourdough starter, water, yeast, salt, and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined. Cover the bowl with cling film and let it rest for 6-8 hours or until it rises. Optionally, also cover the bowl and cling film with a kitchen towel. This is how it should look after resting.

Once rested, preheat the oven to 550ºF (280ºC) Pour some of the Olive Oil (from the additional 6 tbsp) into each of the 9x13 cast iron pans and spread it evenly across the bottom. Divide the risen dough into 3 equal parts and place each part into a prepared cast iron pan.

Press and stretch the dough to cover the pan evenly.

Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, then layer on the mozzarella cheese with the pepperoni on top (or any other toppings of your choice).

Bake for 15-17 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, then slice to the size you desire!
