Ingredients

6 hours
6-10 people
  1. 1and a half cups rice
  2. 2-4cinnamon sticks
  3. 3 cupshot water
  4. 1 boxstrawberries
  5. 2 cupsmilk
  6. 1 canevaporated milk
  7. 1 cancondensed milk
  8. halfcup of sugar
  9. optional
  10. 1 tspvanilla extract
  11. 1 tspstrawberry extract

Cooking Instructions

    Boil 3 cups of water

  2. 2

    In a separate bowl add 1 and a half cups of rice and 2-4 sticks of cinnamon

  3. 3

    Add your boiling water onto your rice and cover for 5 hours

  4. 4

    After 5 hours blend your rice and water mixture with your cinnamon sticks

  5. 5

    Make sure to strain your mixture so it isn’t grainy

  6. 6

    Pour your horchata mixture in a pitcher

  7. 7

    Wash your strawberries & add them all to your blender

  8. 8

    Add 2 cups milk, 1 can of evaporated milk, 1 can of condensed milk, half a cup of sugar (depending how sweet you like it)

  9. 9

    Optional but you can add 1 tsp of vanilla and strawberry extract to enhance the flavor

  10. 10

    Blend together and add the strawberry mixture into your horchata mixture

  11. 11

    Add ice & serve!
