Miso Burger with Soy Sauce and Ginger

Really wanted burgers today but decided to experiment with some other ingredients to see what I could come up with. This was really tasty, very different to a typical burger, and very delicious. I served these with these home made burger buns https://cookpad.wasmer.app/uk/recipes/165193-baked-brioche-buns which I can really recommend

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Gather your ingredients. grate the ginger and slice your onion into thin strips
- 2
add the miso, soy sauce and ginger to the ground beef and gently hand-mix
- 3
form the beef into 4 patties
- 4
then add to a pre-heated pan on a medium to high heat. I tend to add a drop of olive oil, but not necessary
- 5
watch carefully, they will only take a couple of minutes. once you see the beef cooked half way as shown here, carefully flip your burgers
- 6
and add the onion to cook down in the beefy juices
- 7
let the burgers rest for a couple of minutes, then serve up on a delicious bun and top with the grilled onions

Cooked these for two very hungry grown ups with a kid-sized burger from the mix too, but realised that maybe they could have been smaller...so really this recipe serves two to four, depending on how much you want in your burger. Celeste -
Trojan-Horse Almost-Turkey Burgers Trojan-Horse Almost-Turkey Burgers
Why trojan horse? Well i got the idea from an interview on Sporkful=to wrap a beef burger in a turkey burger. It's genius! The turkey needs to be cooked all the way through, so turkey burgers are always dry. But here we can have juicy, medium done beef in the middle. As an added bonus i put a couple chunks of cheddar in the middle. What you come out with is a ridiculously juicy burger with a lot of flavors going on, that work very well together. Give it a try! Vegetarian Burger with Sweet & Sour Sauce Vegetarian Burger with Sweet & Sour Sauce
I love "Shirotabi-kun"'s sweet & sour noodle sauce and I wanted to use it for burgers. I wanted to make this recipe with my amazing tofu burgers!!The tofu I used here is Philippine tofu. It contains very little water, so it is almost like okara. If you use Japanese products, adjust the texture by adding water or bread crumbs. Sorry for the trouble! Recipe by Nooko cookpad.japan -
Oyster and Spinach Gratin with Soy Milk and White Miso Sauce Oyster and Spinach Gratin with Soy Milk and White Miso Sauce
This gratin with Japanese sauce is a family favorite. Miso and cheese are both fermented foods, and they go really well together. I like adding soy milk to this sauce, instead of milk. I thought about the nutrients that are beneficial for the body during winter, like iron, for instance, which strengthens the immune system. And that's how I came up with this recipe.Cook the oysters thoroughly in Step 4 to prevent them from being undercooked.I removed the skin from the salmon for children, but you can cook it with the skin still on.The sauce made with rice flour doesn't form lumps, so you can make this sauce without fail. Otherwise, use a spatula so that the eggplants won't break.Lightly dusting the pork with flour is good enough. Recipe by *Anna* cookpad.japan -

I didn't have any meat, so I tried making burgers with tofu.If you drain off too much water from the tofu, the burgers won't be soft and fluffy. Beef Rice Burger Beef Rice Burger
Have you ever have a rice burger from MOS Burger? MOS Burger is a well-known fast-food chain that originated in Japan and the second largest after MacDonald in the country. MOS Burger created rice burger by replacing the traditional hamburger buns with compressed rice cakes. Rice burger quickly became popular in East Asia and recently in America. My beef rice burger recipe has been inspired by MOS yakiniku rice burger, which is a grilled beef strip rice burger. For people who have gluten allergy like me but still wish to enjoy the taste of hamburgers, this is one of the best alternatives. And it is yummy! Just make sure to replace regular soy sauce with gluten-free soy sauce. See my instruction video: https://youtu.be/TWoEcVMaN6k Julie - Mrs. Lin's Kitchen
