White Gouda Lasagna
Moist and cheesy! I guessed on my amounts of spices as I forgot to measure.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat the over to 350°F. I always prepare the Alfredo and Turkey Spinach layers after turning on the over, otherwise I forget to preheat it.
- 2
Alfredo: Melt butter-butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add flour; cook, stirring, 1 minute. Whisk in milk, salt, pepper. Bring to a boil, whisking; reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes add your smoked gouda stir till melted. Put aside (or on low covered).
- 3
Turkey Spinach: Melt butter in a skillet. Add onions and garlic until tender. Add turkey, browning. Once brown, add seasonings and stir. By handful or so, combine spinach with turkey until wilted and covered in moisture and seasonings. Put aside (or on low covered).
- 4
Time to layer! Grease your deep baking dish and put a layer of noodles on the bottom. (1) Cover with a layer of mozzarella cheese than turkeyspinach than Alfredo and end with noodles. (2) layer of ricotta cheese and than another layer of noodles. Repeat 1 and 2 until you are out of filling. You should have a layer of noodles on top, combine remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and cover the top noodle... you can never have too much cheese :)
- 5
Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
- 6
Uncover and cook for 20 more minutes.
- 7
Let rest and cool before serving.

3 Cheese Lasagna 3 Cheese Lasagna
This has become a beloved recipe over the years. Most of my recipes have incorporated steps that take some time to put together but the results are worth it. I usually start my sauce and mix my ricotta early afternoon. Then I just start my Bechamel and cook noodles when close to dinner time. Both Bechamel and noodles take the same amount of time to prepare. Then assembly is a breeze. Taylor Topp Comacho -

Goat cheese turkey lasagna Goat cheese turkey lasagna
I have to say I'm very proud of this lasagna though its not the normal traditional lasagna but that's ok. I came up with this awesome recipe because my oldest daughter won't eat cottage or ricotta cheese in regular lasagna so i got creative and came up with something delicious that resembles cottage / ricotta cheese with goat cheese crumbles and whipped cream cheese. Don't use regular style cream cheese as I don't think it will work out and I used leaner ground turkey instead of fatty ground beef for my husband. My husband raved over it and even took a left over slice to work with him and he never eats left overs lol. The rao's marinara sauce is a little pricey but its worth it and I wouldn't use anything else but I guess you could. It just might alter the flavor a little bit. Here is a little tip to make sure you have enough for each layer to quickly put it all together. I'll pre measure the goat cheese mixture out into 3 almost 1 cup portions and I have even done that to the meat sauce as well into 4 1 1/2 almost cup portions as it make it easier for me to easily put it all together. You can make this lasagna a head of time uncooked or cooked covered and refrigerated till ready to cook or heat up. I personally think lasagna taste better the next day when all the flavors really come together. If you try this let me know what you think. 😉 ❤✌ carrie -
