I love to cook from scratch as much as possible. But let's face it, it isn't always feasible. With items you can keep on hand I have a quick, still feel good to serve, taste great meal. No reason for fast food with having a few staples on hand:-)

I love to cook from scratch as much as possible. But let's face it, it isn't always feasible. With items you can keep on hand I have a quick, still feel good to serve, taste great meal. No reason for fast food with having a few staples on hand:-)

Ingredients

20 mins
4 servings
  1. one pot meal
  2. 20 ozof pre cooked turkey breast. Slice then cut into small cubes
  3. 1 1/2 cupcous cous
  4. 2 tbspbutter
  5. 2 1/2 cuphot water
  6. 2 cupfrozen peas and carrots, thawed
  7. 1/2 cupshredded Parmesan cheese
  8. 1/2 tspeach of , onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In large deep side skillet stat melting butter over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Place cubed cooked turkey into butter.

  3. 3

    Cook for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add in seasonings and stir.

  4. 4

    Place in pan peas and carrots, cous cous, shredded cheese then hottest water possible from tap.

  5. 5

    Stir, cover and shut off heat.

  6. 6

    After 5 minutes just fluff up with a spoon and serve. Add a touch of parmesan cheese on top of each serving if you wish. Walla! Dinners done:-)
