Twisted Sweet and Salty Cookies Twisted Sweet and Salty Cookies
I was craving some lightly textured cookies.Adding salt makes the dough quite stretchy. That's why you'll be able to twist the dough. You won't really taste the salt, but it will give a light aftertaste. I'd say 1 pinch is approximately 1 g.Please add granulated sugar to your liking. Sweet Potato Cookies Sweet Potato Cookies
I was given loads of sweet potatoes, so I adapted a cookie recipe to incorporate them.Baking time may vary on your oven so adjust accordingly. You can either add 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds into the mixture when preparing the dough, or scatter them on the dough before baking. You can use margarine for this recipe, but butter is best. These cookies taste great if there are small lumps of sweet potato remaining. Recipe by nathu cookpad.japan -

Sweet Potato Cookies Sweet Potato Cookies
I make these as a snack when I'm dieting. For non-dieters, substitute butter for vegetable oil. They're even more delicious that way.Straining the sweet potatoes gives a smoother texture, but if it's too much trouble, just mashing is fine!Be sure to bake them to a nice aromatic finish. I was told by someone that they wanted to eat Valentine's cookies, so I figured I would give it a try. These will become closer to Auntie Stella's ( a cookie store in Japan) cookies by spreading th dough out thinly. Some light-colored bits might remain with only 12 minutes. The light-colored bits will have a crispy but soft texture. These will become crispy if they turn brown. These cookies are crispy when made thick, and crunchy when made thin. Sweet and Fluffy Honey Cookie Bread Sweet and Fluffy Honey Cookie Bread
I wanted to make a bread that would be a hit with the kids, so I came up with a strongly honey flavored cookie bread. Both the bread dough and the cookie dough have lots of honey in them! When freshly baked these are very crispy, and after some time they turn soft and tender. They're not just popular with kids, they're a hit with adults too! There's a generous amount of cookie dough in the recipe, so you can use a lot of it as topping. When the buns are still hot out of the oven you can't really taste them properly, so wait until they have cooled down a bit so that the cookie part is crispy. ♪ When the buns are completely cooled they become soft and moist. If you warm them up a bit in a toaster oven, they'll become crispy again! Recipe by Toiroiro cookpad.japan -
