Cooking Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 375°F

Beat together shortening and sugars until creamy
- 3
Add eggs and vanilla beat well
- 4
Place butter and sugar mixture in the refrigerator while preparing other ingredients
- 5
Whisk together flour baking soda and cinnamon. Stir together until no streaks remain

Stir this mixture into the butter mixture
- 7
Stir in the oats and butterscotch mix well
- 8
Drop rounded tablespoon falls onto an ungreased cookie sheet
- 9
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown
- 10
Cool for 1 minute on the cookie sheet then remove to a wire rack
