Ingredients

  1. 4 tbspButter
  2. 1 cupHeavy cream
  3. 1 cloveGarlic, crushed
  4. 1 1/2 cupParmigiano-Reggiano cheese, freshly grated
  5. 1/4 cupItalian parsley, chopped
  6. 1Salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt butter in a saucepan over medium low heat

  2. 2

    Add heavy cream and garlic and simmer for 5 minutes, whisking occasionally

  3. 3

    Add pasta of choice and a splash of reserved pasta water

  4. 4

    Add cheese and mix until melted

  5. 5

    Add salt to taste

  6. 6

    Add parsley, stir, and serve
