  2. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  3. 1/4 tspbaking powder
  4. 1/4 tspnutmeg
  5. 1/4 tspsalt
  6. 6 tbspunsalted butter
  7. 3/4 cupsugar
  8. 2eggs
  9. 1 tspvanilla
  10. 1/2 cupmashed very ripe bananas
  11. 1/4 cupplain yogurt
  12. 1/3 cupchopped pecans
  13. Maple Butter Cream
  14. 4 tbspunsalted butter
  15. 1/2 cupmaple syrup
  16. 2 tbspwhipping cream
  17. 1 tspvanilla
  18. 1 tspmaple extract
  19. 1/4 tspsalt
  20. 3 cuppowdered sugar

    preheat oven to 350 . line muffin tin with liners

    for cupcakes, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt in a med. bowl

    beat butter with a mixer until smooth about 30 sec. gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy, 3-4 min. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each. beat in vanilla and bananas. stir in half the dry ingredients with a rubber spatula; add yogurt. Mix in remaining dry ingredients, stirring only until batter is smooth. stir in pecans. divide evenly among muffin cups

    for butter cream, combine butter, maple syrup, cream, vanilla, and maple extracts, and salt. beat with a mixer at med. speed until well combined. gradually beat in powdered sugar until the frosting is smooth and spreadable
