I was a bit sceptical at the beginning. But these taste amazing. Quite rich at the end. These make small sizes which is perfect. I also added oil essence to make it taste nicer.

Ingredients

  1. 14 ozcan black beans, drained & rinsed
  2. 2eggs
  3. 1/2 cupapplesauce
  4. 12medjool dates, pitted
  5. 2 tbspbrewed coffee (optional)
  6. 1 tspvanilla extract
  7. 1/2 cupcocoa powder
  8. 1/4 tspsalt
  9. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  10. 1/2 cupchocolate chips
  11. 1/4chocolate chips

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 175°F or 350 Fahrenheit. Line a 8 x 8 inch square baking dish with baking paper.

    Add all ingredients except chocolate chips to a food processor. Process until smooth.

  3. 3

    Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips and stir to mix. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining chocolate chips.

    Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let brownies cool for 5 minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack and let cool completely before slicing.

    Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 5 days. Or freeze for 3 months.
