Parveen’s Green Cabbage (Kobi)

Ingredients

  1. 1onion chopped
  2. 1bell pepper or sweet peppers
  3. 3-4tiny chili peppers chopped (optional)
  4. 1garlic fresh bulb chopped (about seven cloves)
  5. 1 tablespoonFresh chopped ginger about
  6. Halfa head of green cabbage from the farmers market finely chopped
  7. 1 1/2 cupfrozen green peas
  8. MND Mutton spice mix (contains no mutton only spices) (half a packet)
  9. 1 cupRoa’s tomato sauce Or you may use a fresh tomato chopped

Cooking Instructions

    Fry onions, peppers for five minutes. Add garlic and ginger, fry Additional five minutes.

    Add spice mix

  3. 3

    Add Rao’s sauce

  4. 4

    Add shredded cabbage.

  5. 5

    Cook on medium heat with cover stirring occasionally for 10 minutes.

    Add frozen peas.

  7. 7

    Cook on medium heat covered for an additional 10 minutes 15 minutes.

  8. 8

    Garnish with cilantro.

  9. 9

    Enjoy with basmati brown rice.
