Ingredients

  1. 1 poundlentils (about 450 grams)
  2. 2potatoes
  3. 1bell pepper
  4. 1onion
  5. 1cooking chorizo
  6. 1cooking blood sausage
  7. Extra virgin olive oil
  8. 2-3bay leaves
  9. Cumin
  10. Salt
  11. Water

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces, then add them to the pot along with the rest of the well-washed ingredients.

    Add enough water to cover all the ingredients, pour in a splash of oil, and season to taste.

    Cook on high heat for about 30 minutes, and your lentils will be ready.

    Note: You can choose to cook the blood sausage and chorizo in a separate saucepan for a less fatty stew. In that case, I would add a bit of sweet paprika to the lentils for some extra flavor. Enjoy ;)
