Ingredients

  1. 25baby potatoes
  2. 1.5 tspsalt
  3. 1 tspturmeric
  4. 1 tspcoriander powder
  5. 1 tspajwain powder
  6. 1/2 tspsaunf powder
  7. 1 tsproasted cumin powder
  8. 1 tspgaram masala
  9. 1 tspred chilli powder
  10. 1 tspaamchur powder
  11. 1 tbspkasuri methi
  12. 1 tspkalonji
  13. as requiredOil

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl add all the dry masala excluding the kasuri methi.

  2. 2

    Wash and peel the skin of the potatoes.

  3. 3

    With the help of a knife slit the potatoes up to 3/4th carefully.

  4. 4

    With the help of a fork prick the potatoes all around.

  5. 5

    Fill the dry masala into the slit and all over the potatoes.

  6. 6

    Once you are done with all the potatoes,take a non stick pan add oil, put a tsp of Kalonji and shallow fry the potatoes till they turn golden brown. Cover and cook the potatoes on a low flame so that it gets cooked by steam.

    Once done sprinkle some kasuri methi and cook for a minute. It’s ready to be served with paranthas or rotis.
