I made these cookies today and they were really good. My family loved them. They were not overly sweet so we were able to taste the chocolate chips even more. I made a few tweaks to the recipe. I added 1 1/2 cups whole-wheat flour and a 1/2 cup of white flour because I didn't want them to be very dense which is what whole wheat flour does. I also added the water to the flax meal in a separate cup because I wanted the flax to blossom. Like the way a person does with yeast in making bread. So because I did that I had to add another tablespoon of water when I was mixing everything together. I used a cookie scooper when placing them on the cookie sheet so they were like little small meatballs. I baked them just the way they were to see if they would spread and discovered they did not. So on the next batch I flattened them with the back of my spoon and spread them out. The picture I uploaded shows the before and after cookies. The one where I did not flatten it out in the other one where I did so others can see the difference. I was also able to make 20 cookies. Which my family enjoyed. Thank you for this great recipe that I will continue to use and I can't wait to try it with walnuts and dried cherries and other things. I also hope this review will help other people too to enjoy these cookies
