Venison is deer meat. I’ve never made wild hog, I’ve heard it’s tough meat. My husband is much more into cooking all kinds of game... dove, squirrel, bear, rabbit, of course fish... just trying to save money on meat and save the animals habitat. His name is GAMEchanger but he hasn’t posted recipes yet.

Haha don’t apologize I had so many animals being processed in my kitchen before I was ok with it at all. Now I get it.
