First of all, the ingredients that soup requires are: • onion of large size • tablespoonful of ground crayfish • ogiri, dawadawa or iru (this is optional) • palm oil • bell peppers and 3 fresh tomatoes • shoko or spinach leaves (if you purchase them in Nigerian market, you will need 4 wraps) • scotch bonnet peppers • stock cubes • assorted fish (smoked or stock fish) • assorted meat (which is beef, cow skin, or tripe) • salt for adding the taste
