Cooking Instructions
- 1
In a frying pan..add in your oil..when it's ready..add onions and the paste
- 2
Stir well..till you achieve a nice sweet smell and the onions start turning a golden brown
- 3
Add in your dengu..stir gently.then add in the cumin and pepper and masala...then add salt and gently stir till it's well mixed...remove and let it cool
- 4
For the pockets..knead your flour like the chapati one..not too hard and not too soft
- 5
Cover for twenty minutes...then make small balls...I rolled them out one by one into thin circles
- 6
Then heat them on your pan one by one...when you're done..
- 7
Take around plate and trim then divide into 4 quarters..
- 8
Then fold this way..(for the paste...take a tablespoon of flour the mix with one tablespoon of water..and mix till you achieve a thick paste)
- 9
Now gently open the pockets and add in your fillings and fold the upper part with the paste too...then fry them in oil(shouldn't be too hot if you don't want them to have the pimples 😅)
- 10
Once you're done...serve with your drink of choice..😊🤩
