Ingredients

  1. 6 pieceschicken
  2. 1jug of warm water
  3. 1/3 cupsalt
  4. A fewPeppercorns or grinded peppercorns
  5. 3-4bay leaves
  6. 2Eggs
  7. 1 cupmilk
  8. Seasoned flour
  9. 1 cupflour(not self rising)
  10. 1 tablespoonsalt
  11. 1 tablespoonchicken spice
  12. 1 tablespoonbarbecue spice
  13. 1 teaspoongrinded peppercorns
  14. Oil for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

    In a large container, add your 1/3 cup salt, peppercorns, bay leaves and your jug of warm water. Leave the chicken in the warm water atleast overnight in the fridge. This helps with seasoning the chicken throughout so that it doesn’t become bland.

    Mix everything up in the seasoned flour section and set aside.

    Whisk the eggs with the milk and set aside.

  4. 4

    For the chicken, remove it from the water and coat it in the seasoned flour, then into the egg mixture and double coat it back into the seasoned flour only then deep fry it. Enjoy
