Ingredients

40 minutes
4-5 servings
  1. 1/2 kgrice
  2. 1 cuppeas
  3. 1large carrot cubed
  4. 2small potoatoes
  5. 1/2 cupoil
  6. as per taste salt
  7. 2medium onions sliced
  8. 1 tbsginger garlic crushed
  9. 8-10green chilies crushed(I love spicy pulao)😍
  10. 3-4 tbsyoghurt
  11. 2-3green chillies chopped
  12. 1tomato (mere pas aj ni thy is liye ni dala)😬
  13. as required water
  14. 1 tspchicken powder
  15. 1 tspwhole spice powder
  16. 1black cardamom
  17. 5-6clove
  18. 1star anise
  19. 15-20black pepper corns
  20. 2 stickscinnamon
  21. 1 tspcumin seed
  22. 1 strandmace
  23. 1small piece of nutmeg
  24. 2bay leaves

Cooking Instructions

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash and Soak rice for 1 -2 hour

  2. 2

    Peel and cut all vegetables

  3. 3

    Heat up a deep wok add oil and whole spices fry for 1 minute then add onions and fry

  4. 4

    Now add crushed green chillies and ginger garlic paste fry for 2 minutes

  5. 5

    Now add vegetables salt chicken powder chopped green chillies whole spice powder and fry

  6. 6

    I always add homemade yoghurt in my rice 😇 fry until oil seperates

  7. 7

    Now add as required water let it boil now cover and cook on low heat until veg are tender

  8. 8

    Then add soaked rice cover and cook for 10 minutes

  9. 9

    When water dries up simmer it on a low heat for more 8-10 minutes turn off the flame and dish it out😍
