Cooking Instructions
- 1
In a soup pot, brown italian sausage. When finished remove from pot and set aside.
- 2
Pour out grease from the sausage, then add bacon to pot. Cook until slightly brown.
- 3
Add the italian sausage to the bacon, then add the onion, garlic and oregano. I removed more than half of the bacon grease before adding the onion and garlic.
- 4
Cook until the onion is translucent.
- 5
Mix in the italian sausage and bacon, then stir in the chicken broth and kale. Cook until the kale is wilted.
- 6
Stir in the heavy whipping cream and xanthan gum.
- 7
Add S&P if needed. I found the meat gave enough flavor so I didn't use any salt, only pepper.
- 8
Pour into bowl and top with parmesan cheese.

Zuppa Toscana Zuppa Toscana
This is my favorite soup in Italy cuisine. Have it with breadsticks. Yummy~~~ Just cannot stop eating it!*Welcome to visit "Note-a-licious" blog!https://note-a-licious.blogspot.com/FB: https://www.facebook.com/Note.a.liciousTip*If the soup is not thick enough in the end, you can stir in potato starch water (about mixing 1 tsp potato starch with 1 Tbsp water) and boil the soup for a minute. It will help. Note-a-licious -
