This is an evergreen street food of Mumbai and is widely popular in the whole Country. Though it's native to the State of Maharashtra, it is made and enjoyed in all parts of the Country. And we all love it. And every State has it's own style of making it. Just like the one I have already shared on this platform from the State of Karnataka called Churu Muri. Every Indian loves it. I make it very often in my house for my little one's because they just love it. And not only the Children, it's loved by all the age groups. And it's a really easy one that suits your needs. If making for kids, you can reduce the spice content and make it simple. And if it's being made for the adults, it can be relished according to your own personal preference of the spices being used. This is the most easiest and the loveliest Snack that anyone could ever lay theirs hands upon. That's the beauty of this amazing street food. It's no wonder that it is loved by almost everyone.

Kolkata fish fries Kolkata fish fries
India is gifted with some amazing food hubs throughout the country and Kolkata is one among them. Egg roll, chowmein, phuchka, ghoogni, fish fry and aloo'r chop are some of the famous street foods every Kolkatan takes pride in. It has been more than 10 years I have left Kolkata and crave for it's street food too very much. My hubby who has nothing to do with kolkata( except that he is a hard core Bengali) only lends his ears to the food stories I share with him of my childhood. But all that listening and no activity in the tongue makes him too much uncomfortable so I treat him with the same sometimes and keep that street food love in us intact. So sharing with you all the recipe of fish fry I am sure every Bengali swears of and even my 6 year old love it like anything. Enjoy it with your loved ones too. Happy eating!!! Kamalika Basu De -
