Bitter leaf soup is of the igbos. I love eating it so I prepared it for my hubby and his sister visiting us. I was inspired by Naija recipe.
Cooking Instructions

Peel your cocoyam, wash both the banga and cocoyam and cook seperately, pluck the bitter leaf wash them and pound it to pieces and wash again to avoid bitterness cos I used fresh ones.

Gride your fresh pepper and crayfish. Pound your cooked banga and sieve to a bowl, and pound your cocoyam.

Add your washed banga to a cooking pot, allow to boil, add your dried fish, pepper, Ogiri, ugbore, crayfish, salt, seasoning cubes and allow to boil. Add your pounded cocoyam then allow to boil to dissolve very well. Add your bitter leaf and allow to cook to your taste. Waooooo. Your soup is ready and can be serve with Semo, Fufu, pounded-yam etc. Enjoy like I did.
