Salted Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

  1. 100 gcaster sugar
  2. 45 gsalted butter
  3. 60 mldouble cream
  4. 1/2 tspsalt

Cooking Instructions

    Heat caster sugar in a saucepan over a medium heat stirring until the sugar has melted

  2. 2

    Vigorously whisk in the butter until it has combined with the sugar (be careful of it spitting as it will be extremely hot)

  3. 3

    Whisk in the double cream and allow to boil for 1 minute (again be careful of it spitting)

  4. 4

    Remove from the heat and stir in the salt
